Sweetheart Red is a soft dolly standing 14 ins (35cm) tall and has a soft velour suit on in deep red over which is a pretty red check pinafore dress with red embroidered trim around the hem and velcro fastenings at the back. She wears a deep red cap over her brunnette plaits which are made of wool. She is soft and satisfyingly cuddly, and has the sweetest face.
Waldorf Dolls are hand made so that each doll is slightly different, using all natural materials such as stockingette, wool and quarz sand. In the tradition of Waldorf education this dolly has a charming simple face to stimulate the child to create her own little child, to use the imagination to name her and give her a personality, to give it 'soul' , to laugh, cry, and sing with her doll.
