Refunds and Exchanges
In order to ensure a smooth return or exchange process, please read and follow these steps:
1. The item must be returned to Out of the Blue within ten days of purchase
2. In order to ensure a smooth process, please ensure that you telephone first on : 01434 634488 and receive a returns number. Goods returned without a returns number will unfortunately not be accepted.
3. All items must be returned carefuly re-packed in their original packaging with all the labels still attached to the garment(s). Please also include a copy of your original packing slip.
4. Items will only be accepted if they are in brand new and saleable condition and must NOT have not been worn.
5. Return postage is the customer's responsibility, and for safety, it is advisable for customers to use an insured delivery service
6. Out of the Blue is not responsible for packages damaged or lost in the post.
7. When the returned item is received, your account will be credited or the item exchanged.
Pre Ordering
Due to the nature of the designer childrenswear industry, collections are delivered to us in two windows during the year. Spring/Summer in Jan/Feb each year, and Autumn/Winter in July/Aug each year. This means that demand can run high, and many customers reserve items they see, to ensure they get them when the item has come into stock.
Childrenswear not yet delivered in is denoted on the site as 'pre order'. If you want a pre order item, simply add it to your shopping basket, and submit payment in the usual way. The item (s) will then be reserved for you, and despatched once it arrives in store. Your credit card payment will only be processed once the item (s) has been despatched to you.
You will receive an email acknowledging your order, and then a further email confirming the delivery date.
